I want to say thank you to those of you who read my blog. It has been a labor of love and sometimes just pure labor. I’ve been trying to consolidate my stats this week between my original site and my current site. It’s been an interesting journey to see what posts are popular and which posts generate the most comments.

The day with the most visitors (which was 122 visitors) was the day I posted A $450 Latte???. That post and the You Packed What? In a Carry-On were the two most visited posts that day.

The most active day was the day I posted The Tale of 2 Grandmas – this post juxtaposed my two grandmothers and how one uses her computer and is tech savvy and how the other one is not and won’t even use a computer (We are lucky we get her to use the cell phone we gave her).

The stats tool I had in place for my original blog was a little more transparent and gave me a little more info – like I had 2,545 views for the first few months this year with March being the most popular, with 1,023 views. March was the most popular because I participated in a Sitsgirl challenge of 31 days to build a better blog – part of that exercise entails people coming to your blog and commenting on your posts. I really enjoyed being a part of that challenge and it helped me focus on what I wanted to write. You can’t tell it yet because I haven’t implemented my new pages at the moment, but soon… Thank you to Alison Golden for alerting me to it and giving me the push I needed to join it and get my blog going in a different direction!
