Over 100 posts

One of my goals this year was to post at least 100 blogs. I hit 106 posts this week. My 100th post was actually the Stumbling on the Perfect Gift post. (Must have been because I mailed the hats yesterday – just in time for colder weather.)

One of the things that it took me a while to do (when I let perfect be the enemy of the good) is to switch over to wordpress.org this June – so some of my stats are on wordpress.com (sonyasigler.wordpress.com) and some of my states are on wordpress.org (this site – iampractigal.com). It’s taken me a little bit of sleuthing to consolidate the stats because they aren’t exactly apples to apples.

Today’s post is about the current site – I’ve had 1,187 views and the most viewed post was the same as my 100th post. The posts that were the most viewed on that particular day of the 100th post were:

  1. Dream Dinners – Act 2,3, and 4
  2. Dream Dinners – the Final Act
  3. Dream Dinners – Act 1
  4. Summer Rehab Project
  5. Delivering Happy Cat Toys

The top posts of that whole time period since I started stats in the middle of June were:

  1. September 11th – Part 1
  2. September 11th – Part 2
  3. Dr. Jeckyll & Mr. Hyde Customer Service Experiences
  4. Gimme 5 Healthy Eating While Traveling Tips
  5. McKinley’s 10th Birthday
Under the WordPress Popular Post Stats (it’s hard to keep all of these stats tools straight), I have yet another view into posts popularity:
If you have commented on this blog before – let me know what prompted you to comment on a post.
If you haven’t commented on my blog yet – let me know what your favorite post has been.
Thank you for visiting!

  1. Congrats on your 100th post!

I’ve been meaning to move over to WordPress.org, but I finally know what I’m doing over at dot come I hate to mess it all up.

Comment-wise, the only thing that keeps me from commenting on other blogs has nothing to do with the blog…it’s just whether or not I have the time. In fact I have an email folder with about 300 emails in it that are blog posts I wanted to comment on and never got the chance. Keeping up your own blog AND being a good bloggy friend/commenter can often times be difficult and conflicting. I fear I’m beginning to fail at both at the moment as I’m just so busy with “real life”.

    • I think if you are comfortable with wordpress.com you should stick with it. I wanted to be able to place ads and affiliate relationships where appropriate and you aren’t supposed to do that on the .com version. What I’m finding is that I know just enough to be dangerous and need to take a wordpress class to learn just enough more about what I want and how to get there! I always appreciate your comments on my blog Jenn!
